So what do I post about?!?!?

So you have got everything placed and your ready to make your first post but you have no idea about what to post about. Well me personally I have way to much shit around my house, so lets put it up for sale.. You might have something in mind if not take the next 15 minutes and look around your house and see what you can come up with, dont worry I'll wait ;D.

So I just went and found this:

Over the last few weeks I sold about 20 or so of these on eBay, this one must have got misplaced somehow along the way.... Or maybe I was supposed to send it to some one @@... What Im going to do is upload the photo to our Photobucket account, then we are going to place it for sale on Craigslist.com.. Why CL's you ask, well for one its free and second we can charge what ever we want.. remember affiliate marketing is a numbers game. The more people that come to your site the money money we are going to make...

I got it done finally 2.5 hours later I was having some hardware problems.. Anyways, here is the link to the image above that was designed to draw traffic to our affiliate marketing site so lets see how it does.. I have no desire to sell one of these items I have access to 100's of them let me know if I can help you...

Your first POST

Ok Im going to assume that you have done all that I have mentioned above. And your Adsense account has been approved:

In the last 24 hours I have probably spent at least 30 minutes working on this post..

It is designed to find some potential costumers that are looking for a custom wine rack to be built.

Although I have very little time to do a project of this nature should one arise I would make time..

most of it is pretty straight forward:

Step 1:

Open your blogger account

Blogger.com

Step 2:

Enter user name and password

If your haven't already your going to need to create your first blog, its really your first website..

It should look something like this look for the Text that says "Create Blog"

Name the blog anything that comes to mind that sounds somewhat hip =D!

Then once the Blog has been created your going to want to click on new post..

Then go ahead and write some basic text, people want to hear what you have to say so write about what ever comes to mind...

Me personally I could write about alot of stuff that people would want to read but at the end they would just say, "Wow this guys has no perception of reality". Truth is I probably don't. but then again I'm not the typical 9-5 kinda dude ...

Ok How that you have some content on your site its time to add some pictures. To do this we nee to go to our photobucket.com account..

Once you get logged in it should look something like this:

Im sure your not going to be seeing my ads on your photobucket account though..

Next your going to want to click on the UPload Button it should look like this:

Once you have clicked on it it should bring up a menu that looks similar to this:

Select on the files you wish to upload, if there is multiple images you need to upload HOLD DOWN Ctrl and click the open you need...

Then click OPEN...

After they have finished uploading they are go to a page like this:

Hovering the cursor over the image will bring a drop down menu, like the one above in the blue frame. Click on the Line that has HTML next to it, this will copy the image HTML code to the computers clip board... Notice in the image how it says "Copied"

The HTML code is the physical address of your image on the World wide WEB..

Now you might be thinking why cant I just upload these images to blogger? You can but you dont have unlimited space on your blogger account it would quickly fill up.

Here is a picture of some html image code so you have an idea of what it looks like..

Now that you have done all that go back into your blog post that you have been working on place the cursor where you want the image to appear and press "ctrl V"

This is going to take the previously copied Html code from your photobucket account and copy it to your blog post.

Once this is done click the Edit Html tab on the top right side of the window your typing in and then click the "Compose" tab to see your image..

Ad Sense and how it works...

Ad sense is a very powerful program.. if thats even what you would call it.. Look around this site real quick... Your going to see lots of ads from Google and also ads from me that go to my different website or maybe just a different page on this site...

The ads by Google are ads that the "ad Sense" program has automatically placed here on my site and are usually relevant to the content on the site.. So one big kicker is getting people to your website by advertising a pair of shoes and then having ads for shoes on your site ... Make sense right? Lets try it out..

Heres the link to the test Site I just made.. It might take a little time to see board games for sale on it but they will be there sooner or later...

Ok, I have checked out the about link several time since I posted that ... Never once have I seen board games in the ad sense links... But, I was working on some other websites tonight and this ad showed up, this is an actuallal screen shot from my computer:

Crazy thing is I have been searching high and low to bring my consumers with the most up to date info about blogging and how to make money @ it...

NOtice the $2.5 million tag LOL I love it..

What ever I'm doing tho its working I have made money at it every day for over a week now!!! So Yeah that 9-5 that everyone tells me about can well you fill in the blanks, I defiantly don't need to offend anyone...

Its all about target marketing getting people to your site and advertising to them what they are looking for. You don't want people coming to your website that sells board games and have ads for cars flashing in their face. That's not going to create clicks and clicks are what pay you, Ad Sense has nailed this part of affiliate marketing.

So next time your out surfing the Worldwide Web, l@@k around at all the different ads that are making money for people and think to yourself.... "Can I do that?" The answer is yes anyone can that can put forth the time and effort!

Must have free accounts for Beginners

First things first your going to need to set-up a few different accounts. Some will be for promoting your site others will be for the design aspect of it..

First thing is an Google adsense (click-here) account these can take a few weeks to get approved... This is how your going to make your money, don't expect big things right out of the gate because you will not get them. Make sure you READ the rules for this account, DO NOT ever click on your ads your account will be ban and you will be dead in the water. I would be willing to bet Google pays employees millions of dollars a year to find people trying to defraud them of their money.. I will say it again DO NOT CLICK YOUR ADS!!

Next is the Blogger account also owned by Google (click-here to open a Blogger account) This account is what gives me the ability to get this information to you.. The possibility for this account are endless we will have a section dedicated only to creating posts..

A Photobucket account gives you the access to placing photos on the net so you can get them to your blogger account. You can open a Photobucket account (here) using this account is as simply as copying and pasting links and html code (don't worry its not as bad as it sounds). Below is an example of how a Photobucket account and html work. I call it a "clickable image link", its a picture that takes you to a different website.. Try it but make sure you come back!!

Twitter is another account you are going to want to get up and running, its a great tool for marketing. If you have never heard of twitter you must have been living under a rock for the past 5-7 years. Twitter is basically the worlds instant messenger, you can send a message to literally millions of people with the famous tweet button.. Follow me and I'll be your first follower (click here for my twitter) and we can begin working together an building a huge empire.

Having the access to a image creating software is another very great tool, I currently use Photoshop CS3. I know not everyone has the ability to go out and buy this software. I think that the cost for it is around $300 USD.. Microsoft Paint is another one that most of you will probably have on your computer already, Ill tell you now though that Photoshop is a far superior product to anything else on the market. Heres a link (Photoshop) to download the latest Photoshop trail I looked and could not find how long the trail is but they usually last 30 days.

Craigslist is currently where 90% of my traffic is coming from, I know its not the best place right now its working. Go to (craigslist.com) to sign -up for your account, the great thing about CL is that it gives you means of entry to the entire world.
